In this Beginner Drawing Class, you'll discover the fundamentals of creating art! Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to refresh your skills, this class will guide you through essential drawing techniques to build a strong foundation.

Aimed at adults & teens, but capable tweens welcome. Ages 12-13 welcome with paying adult.

Instructor Bio

Angeline Shrike is a classical realism-trained artist with a deep commitment to capturing narrative realism through meticulous, thoughtful techniques. A graduate of Gage Academy of Art's Classical Atelier, Angeline has also received extensive training in entertainment arts, specializing in concept art and illustration. Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, Angeline aims to evoke emotion and story through every piece, focusing on strong foundational skills and a slow, deliberate approach to art. With a passion for teaching, Angeline encourages students to develop their technical abilities while embracing the meditative process of creation, fostering both precision and personal expression in their work.
