Class Description
In this portrait drawing class, students will focus on mastering the structure of the human face by breaking down the face into basic shapes, planes, and proportions. You'll learn how to approach portraiture from a structural perspective before adding any details. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the underlying anatomy of the face, the relationship between light and form, and how to observe proportions and angles that make each face unique. Perfect for beginners who want to start with a strong, structured understanding of portrait drawing.
