Design it. Draw it. Bring it to life. Join Vincent for a two-day dive into creature creation. Dream up your own beast, then add color, texture, and personality with simple techniques.
Class Description
Want to design your very own creature for your next campaign? Or maybe you'd like to be Dr. Frankenstein and make a monster of your own. Join Vincent in this unique illustration class as he discusses on designs, animal anatomy, mythology, and how an environment can help design for your curious creation. This class is two consecutive Mondays. On the first week, students will be coming up with designs with Vincent's help and drawing the line art. For the second day, students will be adding color and texture your said creation with simple ways to paint fur, feathers, and scales. Beginners and intermediate drawing skills are welcome to sign up.
Aimed at teens & adults, but capable tweens welcome. Ages 12-13 welcome with paying adult.
Instructor Bio
Vincent C is a local queer artist living in Edmonds, Washington. Vincent has studied illustration at AAU in San Francisco from 2012-2017, but has always experimented with different ways to color their artwork. Best known for creating vibrant paintings with paint markers and designing fantasy creatures in various styles. When Vincent isn’t painting at home, he spends time with his three little “muses,” who are small house chickens.

Either Bristol, Mixed media, or hot press watercolor paper. Nothing bigger than 11x14
Micron illustration pens- PN, 01, 03, 08 Black, Brown or Sepia
Round brush, size 2 and 4 (For watercolors and gouache)
12-inch ruler
Post-it notes (Solid color, no lines)
To color your creature, bring any of the following of your choice
