Painting with Poscas! with Vincent Castro - Third Saturdays 6pm-8pm
Every Third Saturday
6pm - 8pm
Ever wanted to play with Poscas (paint markers), but unsure exactly how they work or what they can be used for? Then this is the class for you! Join Vincent in this fun, interactive workshop on painting with Poscas. Vincent will demonstrate how Poscas can paint any solid surface, techniques, sealants, and more!
Class Description
Discover the bold, vibrant world of Posca paint markers, a favorite tool for artists, crafters, and designers around the globe. Filled with high-quality, water-based acrylic paint, Posca pens can be used on just about any surface: paper, wood, canvas, fabric, glass, metal, stone, you name it!
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn techniques for layering, blending, and creating crisp, opaque lines with Posca markers. Bring a couple of your favorite colors and a surface to create on (see supply list below). We’ll also break out ARTspot’s special stash so you can experiment with unusual nib shapes and unique colors you may not have tried before.
Aimed at teens & adults, but capable tweens welcome. Ages 12-13 welcome with paying adult.
