Class Description
Learn to paint florals or plants in the alla prima method with water soluble oil paints in this 3 hour workshop! Follow along with Misa Steinmetz’s step-by-step technique to complete a work of art. We will work from photos and a couple of plants and flowers brought to the workshop. Feel free to bring any additional photos or plants/flowers you may be interested in painting. These paintings will make perfect gifts to give friends and family.

Instructor Bio
Misa Steinmetz is a visual development artist at Sony Pictures Animation with experience working in games, film, and animation, and has a background in fine art. She originally studied at the Georgetown Atelier at Gage Academy of Art for imaginative realism art, and enjoys plein air painting and sketching in her free time.
