As an encaustic artist, Whitney Buckingham Beechie paints with beeswax medium and pigments. “I fell in love with wax because of the texture, depth and design that could be created often by combining the wax with paint, fabric, papers or tar. Other times, I allow the wax to stand on its own and steal the show.”
