Pamela Harold


Pamela Harold is a noted watercolor artist, teacher and lecturer. She was chosen as the Edmonds Arts Festival poster artist in 1999. Pamela is a member of Women Painters of Washington and is a founding member of Artists Connect. She is a Signature Member of the Northwest Watercolor Society and is on the board of the Edmonds Art Commission. Her work is in private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada and Australia. Pamela was born in Canada and won a scholarship to Banff Summer School when she was 16. She is a graduate of Vancouver Teachers College and taught art in Vancouver BC and Nova Scotia. She teaches private lessons in her studio in Edmonds and Travel Journaling at ARTspot, also in Edmonds Washington. Pam Harold is represented by Cole Gallery.

"From my studio I watch the continually changing light on Puget Sound. The play of light and shadow is a very important element in my work. I try to capture glowing colors to give dramatic impact to my paintings. The actual process of drawing and painting is very exciting and each painting is an amazing adventure."
