Lisa JonesMoore is a graduate of Colorado State University, with a BFA in Fine Art and Graphic Design. She includes many items in her work-such as bones, fabric, digital photos, discarded papers, bottle caps, rusty nails, sand and old hardware parts. Her love of Latino culture shines through many of her works.
Lisa also loves creating contemporary shrines and iconic female imagery as a way to connect with her past and other like-minded souls. Lisa's works are part of private collections in the Northwest, Midwest and East coast of the United States. Her encaustic and mixed media work has been published in Cloth•Paper•Scissors magazine, Somerset Studio, Somerset Workshop, Somerset Life Images, IndieArts DVD magazine and The Pulse of Mixed Media: Secrets and Passions of 100 Artists Revealed (North Light Books).
Lisa is currently represented by Hanson Scott Gallery in Seattle, Washington & by ARTspot in Edmonds.
